The Phenom 100 jet by Embraer gets certification in China Embraer makes further strides in the Chinese market with the certification of it's entry-level Phenom 100 business jet. The Civil Aviation Administration of China also known as the C.A.A.C recently awarded the Brazilian airframer with a type certification for its small Phenom 100 executive jet to operate that business jet in the country. According to the President of Embraer China, Guan Dongyuan, "CAAC's certificate for the Phenom 100 is great news for Embraer and prospective customers. With a highly intuitive cockpit, docile handling and reliable systems, the Phenom 100 meets the needs of many customers, including single-pilot operators, flight schools and commercial operators alike." With an impressive delivery record, Embraer sits pretty with over 150 Phenom 100s flying around the world. Although the Phenom 100 is a small executive jet the range is also noteworthy.
