News: Bombardier Steep-Approach Certification For Challenger 350

  1. Challenger 350 Steep-Approach Certification Soon
    Canadian airframer Bombardier is zeroing-in on certification for steep approaches using the Challenger 350. Bombardier says they have wrapped up testing of the Challenger 350 in regards to steep approaches and approval is anticipated to be granted later this year. Once the certification has been granted it will open up the Challenger 350 to steep-approach destinations such as London City (LCY).

The aircraft recently completed its steep approach certification flight test campaign, and also performed several takeoffs and landings at the London City Airport to demonstrate this operational capability. Final certification is expected later this year.
