500th Garmin G1000 Install On King Airs For Elliott Aviation A new mark has been made for Elliott Aviation when it comes to the installation of Garmin G1000 avionic suites on King Air family aircraft. The company announced that it has set up 500 of this particular model Garmin avionics on King Air planes. The milestone set up went onboard a King Air B200 operated by Canadian operator Keewatin Air. This also has been the ninth (9th) installation for Keewatin Air's fleet of twelve (12) aircraft.
Elliott Aviation has been the worldwide leader in King Air Garmin G1000 retrofits since 2009, and has been installing systems since 2008. They have installed more G1000 systems in King Airs than all other dealers in the world, combined. They were the first company to install a G1000 in a King Air 200 series, and the first to install in a King Air 300/350. They were also the first company to deliver Garmin’s upgraded G1000 package, the NXI.
