  1. Embraer Revenue Slide Into The End of 2017

It appears that Embraer executive jets continued the third quarter slide in jet deliveries into the 4th quarter and ended 2017 fairly flat in that regard. The overall revenue for the year accumulated was in the region of 1.48 billion dollars and that was as of the end of December 31st. If that is compared for the same period in 2016, revenues stood at 1.73 billion dollars at the time. For 2017, Embraer Executive Jets delivered 109 business jets compared with 117 in 2016.
  2. The break down for 2017 is 37 large cabin jets which include the Lineage 1000, Legacy 450, 500 and 650. Light jets accounted for 72 deliveries clearly still showing that the Phenom 100 and 300s are still pushing deliveries for Embraer. If you contrast that with the performance in 2016, 117 were delivered including 73 light jets and 44 large cabin jets. Embraer did better in 2016 by delivering the more expensive larger cabin jets compared to that segment in 2017. The Brazilian airframer has a fairly flat outlook for 2018 with their range estimation to be between 1.35 billion and 1.50 billion dollars. Hopefully when the Embraer Phenom 300E hits the market soon (this year) it will spur further order intake.
