  1. FAA Certifies Second Gulfstream G280 Level D Simulator
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has now certified the second Level D Simulator for FlightSafety training pilots for operations of the Gulfstream G280 business jet. FlightSafety has been the official factory authorized training organization for Gulfstream Aerospace for more than four decades. They also have been working with Gulfstream to provide training with G650 simulators. To that end, the fourth G650 simulator is expected to come on stream next year.
  2. Back to the second G280 Simulator story. David Davenport who is the executive vice president at FlightSafety said: “FlightSafety is pleased and proud to support the growing number of Gulfstream aircraft owners and operators around the world. The Level D qualification by the FAA of the second Gulfstream G280 simulator further enhances the benefits FlightSafety offers and reinforces our commitment to provide the scheduling and training location flexibility our Customers expect and deserve.” The company's efforts do not stop there either. They are working on simulators to be in place to train pilots for service on the new G500 and G600 Gulfstream business jet aircraft.
