Qatar Executive First G650ER Delivered By Gulfstream There is often a time for the first in anything and that time recently came for Qatar Executive -the business aviation arm of the familiar high-end commercial Gulf carrier Qatar Airways-. The executive jet company recently took delivery of its first ultra-long-range Gulfstream G650ER business jet. To sign off on the formalities for the spanking-new Mach 0.92 jet was Mr. Akbar Al Baker, head at the Qatar Airways Group. The delivery is just the first of many to come. Qatar Executive ordered up to as many as 30 Gulfstream jets which are potentially mixed between the Gulfstream G650ER, G500, and G600 models.
Qatar Executive is a relatively young company in comparison to other established operators but they have quickly solidified themselves in short time. Even though they started in 2009, Qatar Executive is the first and only charter operator in the Middle East -at this point- to fly the G650ER. Mr. Akbar said, “we believe in giving our passengers a memorable experience every time they travel with us, which is why we have chosen this new-generation aircraft with its unprecedented levels of comfort and technology to make travelling for both business and leisure a real pleasure whenever we welcome our guests on board. The G650ER will take our passengers farther, faster and in more luxury than ever before”, he continued.

This aircraft will get them from Doha to New York, Cape Town or Beijing nonstop.” This aircraft will set the bar for executive aircraft operators in the Middle Eastern region and with the very high standards Qatar Executive already holds, the G650ER model will set them even farther apart from the competition.
