Dubai To NewYork City-Pair Speed Record Set By A Gulfstream G650ER Gulfstream keeps notching-up city-pair records with many of its aircraft and the flagship G650ER is no exception. Between the standard G650 and the G650ER, Gulfstream have amassed 50 speed records to date. The most notable of them was flying around the world in one stop, a feat that no other long-range business jet has done. The latest feat was a Dubai to New York run in a Gulfstream G650ER specifically between Al Maktoum International Airport and Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. The flight took approximately 13 hours and 10 minutes at an average speed in excess of Mach 0.87. As per usual, it's pending approval by the U.S. National Aeronautic Association and the city-pair record will be sent to the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale in Switzerland for recognition as a world record.
