  1. Third Quarter Profits Up For Gulfstream Aerospace
Gulfstream is continuing on the good thread they have been sewing and the G650 is leading the way for them. The G650/ER is sold out through to the second quarter of 2018 so the waiting list is fairly long, unless you are willing to take a second hand one - which isn't going to be that old. This is the kind of buzz Gulfstream is creating at the moment and it is reflective in their financial performance; Q3 of 2015.
  2. This quarter represents the fifth consecutive quarterly profit that surpassed $400 million. Year-over-year, third-quarter aerospace revenue rose by $548 million ending at $2.343 billion. The profits as compared added an extra $15 million to round out at $426 million. These figures were called out by General Dynamics chairman and CEO Phebe Novakovic during an investor conference call. The delivery segment for the Third Quarter was strong as well. 43 jets -31 large cabin and 12 midsize- were delivered in the period compared to 31 jets -25 large cabin and 6 midsize cabin- for the same Q3 of 2014. So far for the year the General Dynamics company delivered 116 business jets -89 large cabin and 27 midsize cabin- and this is compared with 108 jets -84 large cabin and 24 midsize cabin) for the same 9-month period of 2014. Definitely things are on the upward trend for Gulfstream.
