  1. Mexico Civil Aviation Agency Gives Green Light To HondaJet
Mexico’s Safety and regulatory civil aviation Agency has given HondaJet the green light. According to HondaJet’s head, Michimasa Fujino, with the certification from the Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC), it allows for deliveries to start into Mexico. In fact, deliveries are expected to commence in the next few weeks.
  2. “Receiving aircraft validation in Mexico is an important milestone for Honda Aircraft Company, paving the way for the start of HondaJet deliveries in Mexico,” Fujino said. “We are excited to respond to the interests of customers in Mexico.” It also represents the first validation outside of the U.S Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for HondaJet.
  3. To facilitate the pending Mexico validation, HondaJet named Aerolineas Ejecutivas as its sales, service and support provider in Mexico. Aerolineas Ejecutivas provides a range of business aviation services throughout Latin America, with operations in cities including Toluca and Monterrey. The HondaJet is a unique business jet from the standpoint of where the engines are located. The set up is called Over The Wing Engine Mount (OTWEM) and HondaJet boasts of its many advantages over the traditional mounting.
