  1. Pilatus PC-24 Gains FAA; EASA Approval
A new chapter has begun for the Pilatus PC-24 light versatile executive jet. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approvals have been granted for the new jet. This brings the first customer-bound example closer to service entry. That time has been calculated for January 2018 and that first delivery will go to Plane Sense.
  2. Operators of the highly-successful PC-12 and PC-12NG variants have been long looking forward to an aircraft that has the capability in terms of short runway operations of the nimble PC-12 but with a larger and more spacious cabin, faster and more range. As many as eight PC-24s are currently on the assembly line bound for customers. Pilatus has a target of 23 PC-24s they want to deliver to customers in 2018. The PC-24 has been testing for a while and amassed some 2,205 flight hours across three flight test articles.
