Royal Jet; Lufthansa Technik Sign On New BBJ Completions Completions giant Lufthansa Technik and Royal Jet recently signed on an agreement for the completion of two Boeing BBJ VIP aircraft. Once completed, the jets will be redelivered to Royal Jet in Q3 and Q4 of 2016. Captain Patrick Gordon who is the interim president and CEO of Royal Jet said: “Royal Jet is the benchmark for private charter companies in the region. It is our aim to be the benchmark for global operators offering VIP chartered services.” The designs are being done by the world-famous Edese Doret.
Walter Heerdt, who is the Lufthansa Technik senior vice president VIP & Executive Jet Solutions said: “We are very proud that we have been selected by Royal Jet and also given the chance to materialize the spectacular design of Edése Doret.” Royal Jet is currently operating six BBJ’s. After completion and handover the Abu Dhabi based charter company will welcome the new aircraft to the existing fleet.
