    Qualifications:

    A hydrodynamic engineer and consultant to the Department of the Navy and Lockheed Marine, his research in propulsion systems was the basis for a light tactical assault program for special forces. Subsequent work included the development of an extensive line of OEM and aftermarket propulsion components.

    Editorial Experience:

    Composition of technical theses for presentations to congressional committees on defense contracts and a senior technical writer for several publications, Camper became the managing editor of a leading US-based yachting magazine. In 2003, he founded YachtForums.com with a focus on yacht reviews written by experienced yacht owners, brokers, captains and respected forum members.

    News Editor

    Background:

    Ron Maynard joined YachtForums.com in 2006 as a passionate enthusiast who began scouring the Internet for the latest news. He became so proficient at sourcing news that he eventually became YF's News Editor. Since then, Ron has written 1000's of news articles and special features for YachtForums and has now turned his attention to JetForums.net.

    Experience:

    As the News Editor for YachtForums, Ron's responsibilities include sourcing & composing news, then editing & formatting editorial content for inclusion in YF's News Section. In 2012, he was naturally the right person to take the lead as the News Editor for JetForums. With nearly eight years of news writing experience, Ron excels at selecting news and publishing in a timely manner. Ron hails from the Caribbean where private jet aviation traffic is particularly heavy in season. In his spare time, he pursues his interest in aviation photography.

    Background:

    Professionally, Kevin is the vice-president of a Canadian aerospace company that produces parts for manufacturers such as Bombardier, Learjet, Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed-Martin, Sikorsky, Embraer, Bell Helicopter, and even the space shuttle.

    Experience:

    Kevin's been an active member of JetForums since its inception. In 2012, Kevin joined JF as a moderator and has since began editing press releases and composing special features.

    Background:

    Tom Serio is a globally published freelance writer/photographer in the marine and aviation industries. With a background in mechanics, coupled with a passion for capturing sublime details, Serio brings a unique perspective to aviation photography. Serio looks to the business end of his subjects to deliver a functional perspective for builders, owners and operators alike capturing artistic, unique angles for his clients.

    Experience:

    A regular contributor to JetForums.net, Serio's focus on aviation photography includes the 2012 & 2014 National Business Aviation Conferences (NBAA), as well as private aerial photo shoots and air show coverage. He's a contributing writer and photographer for Twin Cessna Flyer Magazine and various lifestyle publications profiling private plane ownership. He is also written yacht reviews for YachtForums.com as well as print publications including The Triton, SEA Magazine, Yachting Magazine and Boote-Exclusiv.

    Experience:

    Holding a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and type ratings in a variety of aircraft, Nick Michaux brings a wealth of problem solving experience to the cockpit. When he's not in the air - which is rare - he's online at JetForums checking our six. Nick holds a CFI, CFII, MEI, AGI, IGI, Gold Seal certificates and is currently a captain for United. Nick is fluent in several languages and bridges the gap for the JetForums team when working with International clients.
