A look at the Gulfstream Show room... "The expanded showroom brings a new level of interaction and customer immersion to the G400 and offers great inspiration for the aircraft interior design and completions process," said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. "Our marketing, sales and design teams worked together to create this one-of-a-kind experience to showcase the G400’s cabin and performance capabilities. Customers will enjoy a multisensory experience like no other while exploring the technologies behind the Gulfstream cabin environment, safety differentiators and performance capabilities."

Gulfstream is looking to invest 70 million dollars into building a new service center in Arizona. "In the past decade, as our fleet has grown, we have invested to create a network of modern facilities to provide our customers with outstanding service and support when and where they need it," said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. "How Gulfstream serves our customers is just as important to us as how our aircraft perform. The addition of our new service center in Mesa gives us an additional facility in the Western U.S. and represents our commitment to ensuring that our customers not only purchase the best in the world, they also receive the best service in the world." It will be a 225,000-square-foot facility and is expected to achieve LEED Silver certification -which will help give the facility credibility as a sustainable operation- and will expand Gulfstream’s maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities in the Western United States.

Gulfstream Aerospace announced promotions in both its sales and international teams, including a new regional senior v-p for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Indian subcontinent who will succeed Roger Sperry. Roger Sperry is retiring after nearly 50 years in business aviation and over 20 of those years were spent at Gulfstream. Succeeding Sperry is Michael Swift, who will relocate from New York to London. "I would…like to thank Roger Sperry for his immense contribution to Gulfstream’s success through the years," said Scott Neal, senior v-p of worldwide sales for Gulfstream, crediting his 'vision and leadership' for establishing a leading market share in the Asia-Pacific region.

How does manipulating touchscreens work in turbulence on the newer Gulfstream executive jets. Are there more errors committed?

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. today announced the appointments of Oliver Bergsch as regional vice president of Sales for Central and Eastern Europe; and Jim Beckstein as regional vice president of Sales for Southern California and Arizona.

Bergsch joins Gulfstream with more than 25 years of experience in aviation. Over the last 15 years, he held a range of senior sales management roles at Gulfstream’s sister company, Jet Aviation. There, he was responsible for maintenance, fixed base operations, charter and aircraft management sales activities in the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific regions. He has also worked alongside Gulfstream’s Customer Support sales leadership team for the last four years, successfully increasing synergy between the two General Dynamics aerospace subsidiaries.

Beckstein comes to Gulfstream with nearly 40 years of aviation experience, with the last 25 years focused on business aviation and sales. His background spans many industry disciplines including engineering, fractional aircraft ownership, new and pre-owned aircraft sales and marketing and sales team leadership. Beckstein also serves as the president of the Northern California Business Aviation Association. At Gulfstream, he is replacing Richard Milling, who is retiring after more than 20 years with the company and over 30 years in aviation.

The Gulfstream Service Center at the Fort Worth Alliance airport has been opened. The 55 million dollar facility was announced back in 2020 and is now ready for work. "The Fort Worth Alliance opening marks another milestone in Gulfstream’s overarching strategy to enhance convenience and increase support offerings for our customers," said Gulfstream Customer Support president Derek Zimmerman. "This new facility will serve our significant customer base in Texas and those traveling in the region from throughout the U.S. as well as the volume of Gulfstream traffic we see in the area coming from Mexico, Central, and South America, and around the world." This one is 162,000 sq ft. The company is also working on another large service center near Mesa Arizona, that one will comprise 225,000 sq ft. This one will open its doors in 2023.

Gulfstream will be showing off two fully-outfitted G700s at the NBAA-BACE show in Orlando. Of course along with their future flagship.
