the G 2 in the picture is one of the best maintained i have seen and the interior is incredible. it has had the same owner for many years and it shows in pride of ownership enjoy travler
Yeah it does. When you can keep a plane or yacht that long and keep it well-maintained it definitely shows how the owner feels about their piece.
What is your biggest commercial airline problem onboard their planes? Besides obnoxious travellers and very long security lines are among some of our biggest complaints in our commercial plane experience. However, there is one that passengers have highlighted as the biggest problem and according to a tripadvisor.com survey, uncomfortable seats onboard the airplanes themselves are the biggest headache. Uncomfortable, little legroom.
what a shock. Maybe if a certain airlines didn't want a certain type of battery so they could carrie 5 more passangers or a little more cargo a certain plane would not be grounded and would still be flying just a thought
Wow check this AA battery-powered manned plane making its first flight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=1Dxc8f7Il6Y

Now BA's first Boeing 787-8 emerges from the paint shed, partially painted with just the tail in colour and the rest of the aircraft white. BA was supposed to recieve their first 787 in May but with the grounding of the type aircraft that is now uncertain.
British Airways' new Boeing 787-8 has emerged from the airframer's paint facility with her engine nacelles painted in blue scheme as per the BA traditional colour. However, it breaks from the 787 tradition so far...with all 787s delivered to various carriers having white nacelles.
Apparently two planes clipped wings at Newark-Liberty. From what I am told, one is from Scandinavian and the other United. Obviously there will be delays now.
This is some serious stopping power based on where they touched down. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9m6j4Y-mxHw
Another flying car concept...this one from a company named Terrafugia. Named the TF-X Vision, Terrafugia says the roadable airplane’s notable features will include the ability to auto-land and take off vertically from a clearing at least 100-feet in diameter. The vehicle will be hybrid-electric and able to recharge its batteries via the aircraft’s engine or by hooking up to an electric car charging station. ***
One or two Saabs flying in and out of Nassau, Bahamas. I haven't seen one of those personally in a while. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_xe2hMOMUhs#!
Air India has started test flights on the first of the 'modified' Boeing 787s it has. It is expected that all six Dreamliners will resume commercial service by the end of the month.
