G500; G650ER At Abu Dhabi Air Expo General Dynamics company Gulfstream is going to be at the upcoming Abu Dhabi Air Expo displaying their flagship G650ER and the new G500. The Abu Dhabi Air Expo will be a short one, starting on the 26th and finishing on the 28th of February. Gulfstream will push their top of the line aircraft at the show especially with nearly 200 Gulfstream aircraft already based in the Middle Eastern region and Africa and many more operating in and out.
The G500 recently entered the final stage of its flight-test program, with anticipated U.S. Federal Aviation Administration type certification this year. Capable of flying 5,200 nautical miles/9,630 kilometers at Mach 0.85, the newest aircraft is well into a world tour showcasing its design and enhanced capabilities to customers and potential customers worldwide.
