Patrick Hansen, CEO, Luxaviation Group, says: “We look forward to EBACE each year as it is one of the key highlights in the business aviation calendar. We are pleased to be exhibiting with ExecuJet once more, showcasing the on-going successes that the Group continues to achieve. The co-branded stand that we have adopted again represents the centralized message that the same level of quality and service excellence flows throughout the entire Group. Our team will be available to talk to our current clients and potential partners and we look forward to developing new opportunities at the show.” You can catch them, the global business aviation group exhibiting in Hall 5 at booth number N116.

Dassault Falcon is at the 2018 EBACE and they are no doubt putting high emphasis on their newest creation, the Falcon 6X. Many of you will remember the 6X came out of the failed 5X program. Dassault Aviation chief executive Eric Trappier said: “In the short months since its unveiling, we have presented the 6X to a wide range of potential buyers, and the reaction has been quite positive.” Expect the first flight to be in 2021 and deliveries by 2022 pending no major hickups as was seen with the 5X program.

A sizable order has come in for Bombardier's Global line of jets. The order made yesterday at the ongoing EBACE show came from a Hong Kong based company called HK Bellawings, it is an aircraft management company. They just ordered the recently announced Global 5500 and Global 6500, up to 18 of them. If all options are exercised, then this order will cost 1.14 billion dollars at the current listed prices.

Bombardier has a number of new products on show at the ongoing EBACE show. One of them is the new NUAGE seat that will debut on their new Global 7500 (formerly the Global 7000). That seat promises to revolutionize the business aviation cabin interior market. “We’re really pleased with the result. The comfort we’ll be able to deliver to our customers is amazing,” says Tim Fagan, manager of industrial design for Bombardier Business Aircraft. The word NUAGE is French for cloud and even in the photo below they are emphasizing this. The light, airiness and weightless, effortless nature of the seat evokes full comfort and relaxation in a seat you will be sitting in for an hour or hours.

Embraer announced the signing of a purchase agreement for a pre-owned Legacy 500. The agreement was announced on the opening day of the 18th European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland. The business jet will be operated by Centreline, a UK-based full-service private jet company, which already operates two Legacy 500s. Delivery of this additional order is scheduled for August 2018. “We are delighted and eager to support the growth of Centreline with the revolutionary Legacy 500,” said Michael Amalfitano, President & CEO, Embraer Executive Jets. “Beautifully designed and brilliantly engineered, the Legacy 500 delivers true value to operators and an unparalleled customer experience to its passengers.”
