  1. Maiden Flight For ACJ320neo
The first Airbus ACJ320neo has taken to the skies for the first time successfully. The two hour and forty minute maiden flight took place on Friday 16th, November 2018. It was the first flight of the flight test campaign and this testing phase is expected to be fairly short. The plane is the executive version of the Airbus A320neo which is already in service. It has a few key differences which may not be readily seen. Besides the ACJ house livery on the exterior, the ACJ320neo has its own airstairs, can carry up to four extra center fuel tanks to help extend its range and superior cabin pressurization.
  2. "The ACJ320neo first flight heralds a new Airbus corporate jet era, delivering a range improvement that enables nonstop travel between even more cities, in what is widely recognized as the best cabin of any business jet," said ACJ president Benoit Defforge. "The ACJ320neo Family’s improved fuel-efficiency also means that it compares even more favorably in operating costs with traditional business jets," he added. Once testing is over, the aircraft will be sent to Acropolis Aviation to have its Alberto Pinto designed VIP interior installed and of course be repainted in the customer's personal livery. The work will actually be done at AMAC in Basel, Switzerland.
