Praetor 600 Finishes Certification Flight Tests At the start of this week Embraer completed certification flight tests for the new Praetor 600. You would remember this new model along with the Praetor 500 was revealed last year at the 2018 NBAA show in Florida. Now that certification testing is done the aircraft is now set to start deliveries by mid year. The flight test regime accumulated nearly 340 hours and now the aircraft is engaged in maturity testing to prepare it for Entry Into Service (EIS).
The new Embraer Praetor 600 is a 3,900 nautical mile executive jet that is offering a few upgrades from the Legacy 500. Among the advantages the 600 has over the previous Legacy 500 are increased range thanks to brand new bigger winglets, higher fuel capacity and of course more powerful Honeywell HTF7500E powerplants.
