  1. Pegasus Universal Unveils VTOL Biz Aircraft At EBACE
South African based company Pegasus Universal Aerospace has used the 2019 European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE) as their global platform to unveil their Pegasus ONE VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing ) business aircraft. If you are at EBACE or planning on attending (May 21-23), you may find Pegasus Universal Aerospace at Pegasus booth (D23).
  2. The VTOL aircraft is the best of both worlds, that is, a helicopter and that of a turbine business jet aircraft. When using Vertical Take off mode, the aircraft is penned to have a range in the region of 1,146 nautical miles but if it takes off in conventional mode from a runway then the range is increased to approximately 2,375 nautical miles. With the two 2,330-shp engines the top speed is expected to be around 430-knots. The cabin will boast room for a six of eight seat plan. Pegasus ONE will perhaps be able to fly for around 3.5 to 6 hours dependent on the take of mode utilized. It is safe to say VTOL mode significantly reduces the range.
