Air Peace in Nigeria ordered the Embraer E195-E2. This order has nothing to do with the Paris Airshow as this purchase was made back in April. The order consists of 10 firm and purchase rights to 20 examples. Air Peace is the largest airline in West Africa since it came into operation in 2014. It recently formed a subsidiary called Air Peace-hopper, kind-of like what KLM has with its KLM Cityhopper but smaller.

The Mx intervals for the Legacy 600/650 have improved. Some routine Mx checks are now stretched to 12 months for this model aircraft. According to AIN "nosewheel steering system disengage and air-ground system. Not included are “out-of-phase tasks” such as a general visual inspection of the first-aid kit and operational check of anti-icing system messages, which still need to be accomplished at their specific intervals. However, Embraer officials noted that some of the out-of-phase tasks can be accomplished by a certified mechanic at the owner/operator’s base with the required resources, which will increase aircraft availability and reduce maintenance and operating costs".

Embraer's E190 E2 has been given type certification by Chinese authorities. It is now expected that the Civil Aviation Administration of China will also green-light the airframers slightly larger E195- E2 soon.
Arjan Meijer, President and CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation, commented: "CAAC’s certification of the E190-E2 is great news for Embraer and our prospective customers in China. Certification paves the way for significant E190-E2 business opportunities in China – data reveals that one billion people living in China’s second and third tier cities have never taken a flight. The E190-E2 and E195-E2, seating up to 114 and 146 passengers respectively, offers complementary capacity to China’s indigenous ARJ21 and C919 aircraft. The E2 will not only provide the best in class economics and emission reductions for airlines, but also help to accelerate implementation of China’s Essential Air Service program to connect more secondary and tertiary cities."

Embraer and CAE announced that Embraer-CAE Training Services (ECTS) has deployed a new full-flight simulator (FFS) for the Phenom 300E to meet the growing demand for business jet training in the United States. The new FFS will be operated by ECTS, a joint venture between Embraer and CAE, at the new CAE Las Vegas Training Center near Henderson International Airport. In addition to the FFS in Nevada, there are six Phenom-series simulators operating in Dallas, Texas (U.S.), London Burgess Hill (UK) and Guarulhos (Brazil). “Offering additional capacity for pilot training is part of our strategy to provide the best services to the market. This new Phenom series simulator is also a milestone in our long-term relationship, and we are pleased to be part of the new CAE Las Vegas Training Center,” said Johann Bordais, President & CEO, Embraer Services & Support.
