Many major shows all over the world continue to be canceled through an abundance of caution about exposing patrons to potentially contracting and spreading the Covid-19 virus. In the business aviation side of things the 2020 edition of the NBAA BACE show was just canceled. With American struggling to deal with the spread of Corona cases and the Florida Department of Health advising persons should not be attending events of more than 50 persons...the NBAA BACE that draws over 30,000 persons does not seem like a good idea. The show was earmarked to be held in Orlando, Florida this year from October 6th to 8th.
Even Virtual Boat Shows are being pushed but you just cannot risk that many people being in one space and close to each other right now.
I am seeing word that there is going to be an in-person show in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center from October 12-14th 2021. The show will be held in a recently completed additional space at the facility comprising of 1.4 million sq ft of conventional space along with exhibit floor space totaling 600,000 sq ft that will enable the hosting of the entire show in one building hall. 60 percent of space already booked which likely comprises of roll-over exhibitors from last year cancelled show.
