  1. Final Production Learjet Delivered To Customer
As we already know, Canadian executive jet manufacturer has discontinued the production of its longstanding Learjet. The company acquired Learjet Corporation in 1990 and has been producing Learjets under the Bombardier banner up until very recently when they announced the ending of production. The airframer has simplified its strategy by focusing on its fast-selling Global and Challenger models. The final production Learjet has now been delivered to its customer marking the official end of an era for Learjet and Bombardier.
  2. The final production Learjet was delivered to a customer of Northern Jet Management. "There’s no doubt that today is an emotional day for many of us as it marks the end of the production era of Learjet," said Tonya Sudduth, v-p of Learjet operations. "However, the emotion that I’ve seen most prominent in all of my conversations with [employees] over the past several days and months is pride. Pride for being part of this amazing legacy. And pride in making a lasting mark on aviation history." Back in early 2021 Bombardier made the announcement of the ending of production of this legacy brand and the models that came with it. The fact is that Learjets have not been selling like they used to with increased competition from other manufacturers in the light and midsize markets, the Learjet struggled to thrive. Even with different updates to Learjet models, the future of the Learjet was sealed.
