  1. G800 Test Program Commences With First Flight
    Gulfstream's newest flagship jet, the G800 has started testing with the first flight test article going airborne already. The G800 departed Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport at 9:00 a.m. and landed there two hours later. The flight was flown on a blend of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The top of the ultra-long range market is being dominated by Bombardier and Gulfstream at the moment. There is a tussle between Bombardier's Global 7500 and Gulfstream's soon to enter service G700. Since then Bombardier has launched the Global 8000 at 2022 EBACE.. Gulfstream had already countered with the G800, announced in October 2021.

The G800 has been designed to seat up to 19 passengers. That can be split in up to four living areas or three living areas with a crew compartment depending on the needs of the client.
