Gulfstream G700 Sets City Pair To Vietnam; Debuts In Asia-Pacific The Gulfstream G700 was at the NBAA-BACE just before taking off to endeavour on a world tour which is designed to test all the systems from technical to cabin environment in real-world operations. The G700 joins the Gulfstream G600 and Gulfstream G650ER at an exclusive event at Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh Province, hosted by Sun Air LLC, the Hanoi-based business aviation service company and Gulfstream’s authorized international sales representative in Vietnam. The aircraft is making its Vietnam debut and by extension, Asia-Pacific.
While enroute to Vietnam, the G700 set another city-pair record between Istanbul to Van Don airport, 4,573 nautical miles/8,469 kilometers in 9 hours and 2 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.90.
