  1. Latest On Lilium's eVTOL Progress
German eVTOL company Lilium has been working to bring its Lilium Jet eVTOL to market by 2025. As time progresses the eVTOL airframers need to transition from simply testing on a single technology demonstrator to expanding the test regime with multiple aircraft so the testing can be focused on different aspects across different aircraft. Lilium is currently on that trajectory with them making the push to secure nearly 120 million dollars from their existing shareholders. Now secured, these funds will push the program forward further.
  2. The fundraising campaign ended on the 22nd of November and the new funding will help tackle the new phase which is to certify the 7-passenger eVTOL. Part of arrival to that stage will be the construction of a third test demonstrator aircraft, 'Phoenix 3'. Lilium had an optimistic year so far with the acquisition of new orders for the aircraft from company's like Globe Air. The German startup is optimistic to achieve type certification under EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) ahead of its planed entry into commercial service in 2025.
