Beechcraft King Air on show at 2012 MEBA

  1. HBC to Bring Market-Leading Beechcraft King Air Family to 2012 MEBA

Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) today announced it will display its full line of commercial Beechcraft King Air turboprops at the 2012 Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) expo Dec. 11-13 at Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport – Dubai World Central. HBC has the largest number of business turbine aircraft in the Middle East with more than 140 aircraft, including the King Air family which continues to lead the turboprop category with more than 70 percent of the market share in the region. “As recognition and acceptance of general aviation grows in the Middle East and North Africa, more operators are discovering that Hawker Beechcraft offers a variety of aircraft suited for multiple missions including intra-regional business, special mission or leisure travel,” said Scott Plumb, HBC vice president of sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa. “MEBA gives us a great venue to present our aircraft to government representatives, corporate decision-makers, business people and high-net-worth individuals throughout the region.”

The company will display the following Beechcraft products at Dubai World Central:

King Air 350i – The Beechcraft King Air 350i turboprop features next generation capabilities and efficiency, providing a responsible, sustainable alternative for business air travelers. Not only is the King Air 350i its segment’s greenest aircraft, but it can also take more passengers farther on less fuel – meaning consistent savings for its operators. This, combined with state-of-the-art design and performance enhancements, represents new heights of power and durability, while its new interior means that it has the most comfortable and capable cabin ever offered in its class.

King Air 250 – Building on a reputation of proven performance, the next-generation King Air 250 features composite winglets and lightweight composite propellers, delivering improved runway performance, range, speed and enhanced climb. Passengers travel in quintessential King Air comfort, easily moving about in the spacious square-oval cabin over long-distance journeys. The King Air 250 further defines mission reliability with a ram air recovery system that maintains peak performance when the anti-icing system is activated, resulting in a high-performance, all-weather aircraft.

King Air C90GTx – The C90GTx takes light twin turboprop performance to new levels. Composite winglets and a higher maximum takeoff weight give the C90GTx even greater flexibility while retaining its predecessor’s performance. Featuring a cabin 50 percent larger than some very light jets, the C90GTx seats up to seven passengers in its famed squared-oval design, allowing greater passenger comfort. It includes an in-flight accessible, heated and pressurized baggage storage area, along with a private aft lavatory as standard.
