  1. Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) Sales Soar in 2014
The outlook for the Business Jet arm of airframer Boeing -Boeing Business Jets- has not been doing too badly in 2014, at least compared to 2008. The market shrunk significantly and commanded great concern, however, 2014 has been promising so far. According to the company president Steve Taylor, BBJ has seen double-digit sales increase in 2014 and this has been the first time since 2008. They are being cautiously optimistic that more firm sales and MoU's materialize by the start of the Show in Dubai in December, Middle East Business Association (MEBA). To add to BBJ's to-do list they have had sales for four 737 BBJs, two MAX8 BBJs, one 787 BBJ Dreamliner and three 777-300ER BBJs. To top it all off they are expected to be delivering the first 747-8i BBJ by the end of this year with several others anticipated to be delivered subsequently. “I hope these orders are a sign that the market is turning a corner,” Taylor said. He made these announcements at the 2014 edition of the NBAA in Orlando.
