Embraer Delivers 20 Executive Jets in 1Q14​

During the first quarter of 2014 (1Q14), Embraer (NYSE: ERJ; BM&FBOVESPA: EMBR3) delivered 14 jets to the commercial aviation market and 20 to the business aviation market, for a total of 34 aircraft, compared to 29 aircraft delivered in the same period of 2013. On March 31, 2014, the firm order backlog totaled USD 19.2 billion, an increase of USD 1 billion over December 31, 2013.

Of the 20 business jets, 17 of those were light jets from their Phenom 100 and 300 lines. The other 3 accounted for larger business jets from their offering. To further break down the executive jet deliveries, 14 of the 17 were handing over of Phenom 300 light jets while 3 were of the smaller sister model, Phenom 100. Of the 3 large jet deliveries, 2 comprised of the popular Legacy 650 jet and 1 for the Lineage 1000.
