Sorry Kelly. Still trying to get this thing off auxiliary power. It's like trying to hand crank a radial. With a Blended Wing Concept, it's likely a combo of ground clearance, longitudinal CG and thrust line requirements for a lifting body.
Well, let's just hope this radial does not leak oil like my father's old Twin Beech! Good response, the thrust line requirement never occurred to me. Kind of implies this thing takes off at a very high angle of attack, like a delta wing? old brains
