Icon Aircraft Completes First A5 Amphibian For Customer Light aircraft company Icon Aircraft is proud to announce being on the verge of handing over the first Icon A5 Amphibian aircraft to the first customer. The new aircraft is basically finished and the keys should be handed over perhaps in early June. The A5 has been undergoing stringent testing in the run up towards this point. Load testing to ensure the frame is great in accepting high G-loads with no problem. The information gathered from many of the associated tests were forwarded to the FAA to help in the validation of this aircraft. A look back at progress made to help make this 'day' a reality.
