Pilatus 2018 Revenues Top $1Bn Swiss airframer Pilatus Aircraft recorded revenues that topped 1 billion dollars in 2018. This figure represented the first time since they passed the momentous figure since 2015. The stats highlight deliveries of 128 aircraft across their spectrum of offerings. The breakdown of the deliveries include three PC-6's, 80 PC-12NGs, 27 PC-21 Advanced Turboprop Trainers and 18 of their new PC-24 versatile jets. Order intake was almost 1 billion dollars too with that representing 980 million and subsequently stretches their backlog to over 2 billion dollars (2.07 billion).
With PC-24 deliveries well under way the Swiss manufacturer will reopen the orderbook for their versatile super light jet. To match the demand they are also looking to construct new aircraft assembly plant in Switzerland. The company is also going after unprepared runway certification for the PC-24 to round out its 'Versatile' mantra.
