Two King Air 350CER Aircraft For U.S Customs & Border Protection The United States Custom & Border Protection placed an order for two Textron Aviation Beechcraft King Air 350CER aircraft. The units will be utilized to safeguard the country's homeland and will join a growing existing fleet of King Air aircraft. After mission modifications by Sierra Nevada Corporation, these two Multi-role Enforcement Aircraft (MEA) aircraft will join a fleet of 23 other King Air 350s.

When these aircraft go on surveillance and patrol, sophisticated equipment and sensors will help aid the mission. CBP (Customs Border Protection) MEA (Multi-role Enforcement Aircraft) is equipped with a sophisticated array of active and passive sensors, technical collection equipment and satellite communications capabilities that can be deployed for ground interdiction operations, air-to-air intercept operations and medium-range maritime patrols.
