News: Bombardier Delivers Fifth Global For Saab GlobalEye

  1. Saab Receives Bombardier Global For GlobalEye Conversion
    Bombardier announced that it has delivered the fifth Global platform aircraft to Saab. This aircraft will then be transformed into the GlobalEye airborne surveillance aircraft. The new aircraft was flown to Sweeden and arrived at Swedish defense supplier Saab’s Linköping, location, ready for conversion into Saab's Airborne Early Warning and Control solution known as GlobalEye. The GlobalEye is based on the Bombardier Global 6000 platform and now with the newer Global 6500.

Bombardier is no stranger to having its platform aircraft being used in specialized mission roles. in fact, more than 550 Bombardier Global, Challenger and Learjet business aircraft are currently in different special mission roles around the world.
