  1. Bombardier Eyes Higher Executive Shipments In 2019

Canadian airframer Bombardier has adjusted its market guidance for 2019 and anticipates higher jet shipments in that year. They expect to deliver between 150 and 155 jets in the year. This figure is up approximately ten percent. Of course this is taking into consideration the new deliveries of their latest jet, the Global 7500 (formerly Global 7000). For the year 2018 the company expects to ship 135 executive jets.
  2. With the uptick in shipments in the coming year the revenues are also expected to rise and are estimated at around 6.25 billion. The turnaround plan for Bombardier has seen a number of changes being made to the company as a whole with them shedding some facets of the business and changing how they operate. "Three years into our turnaround plan and Bombardier is a much stronger company," said Bombardier president and CEO Alain Bellemare. "We are confident in achieving our 2020 objectives and see tremendous opportunities beyond 2020."
