Bombardier Ramps Up Global 7000 Activities Ahead Of Certification Canadian airframer Bombardier is currently busy ramping up all activities surrounding the Global 7000 model as it moves ever closer to EIS. The Global 7000 is the company's newest model that will make it out of the testing phase and into service. Of course the Global 7000 was being developed with the Global 8000 model but Bombardier discontinued development of the latter, for now.
As for the ramp up, Bombardier says they are at the halfway point in its large-scale hiring objective to add 1,000 new positions to its local workforce.
