  1. Refreshed Challenger 350 Unveiled By Bombardier
In order to keep the latest member of the Challenger 300 series ( Challenger 350) relevant and on the cutting edge, Canadian airframer Bombardier unveiled a number of updates they are making to this model to give it a bit of a refresh. The Challenger 350 has been in service since the start of 2014 which makes it around 5 years of operation without any major updating.
  2. On the table includes performance enhancements improved rudder authority and more substantial brakes. It will now allow the Challenger 350 to be able to operate from Santa Monica airport which has had a shortened runway of just 3,500-feet. This is great especially considering that the Challenger 350 has EASA, Transport Canada and FAA certifications for steep approach scenarios. Other improvements made include better acoustical insulation, therefore making the cabin even quieter. The cabin has also been spruced-up aesthetically and the cockpit receives a new improved HUD (Heads Up Display) and EVS (Electronic Vision System) from factory but it is available as a retrofit for older Challenger 350 models. You can catch Bombardier at the 2019 EBACE show in Geneva at Booth Z125, SD 400.
