  1. Cessna Citation CJ2+ No Longer In Production
Cessna is no longer offering the Citation CJ2+ in production. The aircraft has basically fallen victim to better-equipped aircraft in its general class in Cessna's lineup namely the CJ3+ and the M2. Additionally, Cessna didn't make upgrades widely available for the CJ2+ so it eventually died a natural death. Since the CJ2+ has been built along with the CJ4 and CJ3+ if a customer wanted a one-off then maybe they might consider building it but as a line production process, the aircraft has been pulled from the production line.
  2. The CJ2 model came off the line from about the year 2000. The updated version which represented as the CJ2+ came around approximately 2005. The upgrade included a lift in the avionics to the Pro Line 21 by Rockwell Collins and better overall performance as a result of tweaks. The aircraft continued well in production but with the advent of better avionics platforms from Garmin on sister aircraft and Cessna not pursuing to invest in the Garmin G3000 program the CJ2+ slowly started to take the back-seat. The fact that Cessna hasn't reportedly delivered a Citation CJ2+ since early to mid 2014 solidifies that they are not building them anymore.
