  1. Daher Takes Over Triumph Aerostructures
Daher is making big moves in the United States. Its last big acquisition was Quest Aircraft which makes the popular Kodiak 100 utility turboprop. Since coming under Daher, Kodiak has upgraded the Kodiak 100 and now calls the new version the Kodiak 900 which is slightly longer and features different updates to the interior as well as aerodynamic-related upgrades. Daher has now purchased an Aerostructures Company in the United States.
  2. Earlier in February Daher announced its intention to acquire the Stuart, Florida-based Triumph Aerostructures. The take over has now be completed and this will allow Daher to put their business in another direction. It will further put Daher in a better position to be able to serve their customers like Gulfstream and Boeing. This allows them to focus more on the U.S market areas. "We were -before the Stuart Aerostructures acquisition- very Euro-centric, because…80 percent of the business was done in Europe, and we want to balance that and to do exactly the same business model in the U.S., in 15 years—or probably quicker because we have the learning curve," said Didier Kayat, CEO of Daher.
