Falcon 10X By Dassault Appears To Be Nearing Flight Testing Status Dassault Falcon has been relatively tight-lipped regarding the progress of the development of their largest and newest executive jet, the Falcon 10X. Recent images have surfaced showcasing the first Falcon 10X in the open likely conducting ground testing as the anti-collision beacons were in operation. The image was seen on French aviation site Actu Aero. Official roll-out of the aircraft will likely take place earlier in the new year although nothing has been confirmed. Dassault would not speak to when flight testing is expected to commence but it will be in 2026.
As per previously-known information, the Falcon 10X is expected to attain approval in 2027 after initial projections were for late 2025. In terms of performance, the aircraft being powered by a pair of Rolls Royce Pearl 10X powerplants is anticipated to reach MACH 0.925. Keep in mind the aircraft has not commenced flight testing and usually, figures tend to a slightly different in actuality.
The new 10X will be the aircraft aircraft to compete with the Bombardier Global 8000 and the Gulfstream G700.
