  1. JETIT & JETCLUB Are Launch Customers For eFlyer 800
With Bye Aerospace unveiling its design for a 8-seat all-electric aircraft called the eFlyer 800 earlier this year, it stirred significant interest as well as debate with what traditional turboprops it will be competing with in the future. The eFlyer 800 will seat 7 passengers plus a pilot -hence the 8 seats- and fly them 500 nautical miles with estimated 45 min IFR reserves. The specs are all estimates at this stage but the figures are promising given this aircraft will emit very few pollutants while operating. The targeted ceiling will be 35,000 ft and the aircraft should be able to reach a 320-knot cruise speed.
  2. The eFlyer 800 will be targeting the air-taxi, air-cargo, regional and charter aircraft markets. With this in mind the launch customers for this aircraft have been announced. JETIT and JETCLUB are the launch customers for the eFlyer 800. These entities are actually sisters companies that have operations in the U.S and Europe respectively. "The remarkable economy and flight performance from eFlyer 800 is ideal for Jet It, JetClub and their customers," said George E. Bye, Bye Aerospace CEO. "The legacy aircraft in the charter air market have been solid performers, but those paving the way for aviation’s future are demanding greater flexibility and cleaner, more efficient, all-electric aircraft." The eFlyer 800 will have only one-fifth the operating costs of traditional twin turboprops. Bye Aerospace is targeting an FAA certification during 2025 for the new all-electric aircraft. The two fractional ownership companies made a purchase agreement for 'a fleet' of eFlyer 800s without listing a definitive number. They also listed agreements for options.
