  1. Q1 2018 Represents Drop In Deliveries For Embraer
Embraer deliveries continue to drop quarter on quarter. They continued to slide at the end of last year and now the trend is continuing now that the first quarter for 2018 is finished. 25 jets were shipped in the first quarter, this is 14 commercial aircraft and 11 business jets. If you compare with the same period last year, i.e the first quarter of 2017, they shipped 33 planes (18 commercial and 15 executive jets) and looking further back, to Q1 2016, the performance was 44 aircraft in total so we can clearly see there is a slide in shipments.
  2. Eight light jets, (Phenoms) and three large cabin aircraft (Two Legacy 450s and a Legacy 500 ) was the break down for the 11 business jets delivered in the first quarter. For more detailed numbers, Embraer is anticipated to release its firm order backlog during its first quarter 2018 earnings results on April 27. We will have to wait to see what the rest of the year brings for Embraer. One thing is certain, their Phenom line still does very well for them.
