  1. Interior of Epic Aircraft's E1000 Turboprop Single

Epic Aircraft’s E1000 turboprop executive aircraft is nearing the finishing line and soon expected to be granted final certification early next year. Production has been ramping-up in anticipation of final approvals and customers are waiting on having their orders eventually delivered. Much of the attention given to the E1000 has been focused on the work towards certification and the general aircraft itself but taking a look at the interior is something pretty special. This turboprop offers a lot of style and comfort for such a small space.
  2. The interior, at least in the show model is beautifully appointed, using whites extensively in collaboration with the large side windows, offer a sense of extra space in a relatively small cabin. The cockpit and cabin are spacious, with generous head and legroom able to accommodate 6’8″ tall pilots and passengers. The leather reclining seats are each equipped with side pockets, small item & technology storage, headset jacks, power ports, beverage holders, air vents and fingertip-adjustable LED reading lights. Versatile carbon fiber tray tables provide multiple configurations for ease of use and functionality. There are no window shades so electronically-dimming windows offer precision control over light, glare, heat and UV rays. Configurable cabin seating optimizes passenger and cargo requirements. Once airborne, the technologically-advanced sound proofing reduces engine noise and enhances cabin comfort.
  3. The cockpit is one area the pilots will enjoy on this aircraft. For such a small plane, there is definitely good room for taller pilots. The glass cockpit is not only beautiful to look at in terms of layout and sheer aesthetics but everything has been optimized for efficiency and ease of operation. The sculpted, leather-detailed carbon fiber yoke facilitates one-handed flight operations and integration with e-tablets and EFB devices. Custom avionics, including synthetic vision displays, GPS and integrated auto-pilot, are all incorporated into the Epic E1000, with vital traffic, weather, terrain and engine monitoring systems all standard. All appears to be going relatively smooth in the final phases of work to bringing this 1,650 nautical mile range turboprop to market. With a single 1200 HP Pratt & Whitney PT6A-67A engine this aircraft will be fairly nimble expected to fly over 350 ktas. Pricing for the smart and quick turboprop single is just under 3-million dollars.
