FAA STC For Nextant Aerospace Li-on Battery Solution On Beechjet 400A; 400XP The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted Nextant Aerospace Supplemental Type Certification (STC) for their True Blue Power (TM) Lithium Ion Battery specifically for the Beechjet 400A and the Hawker 400XP. It is a milestone not just because it is another successful STC yes but it is their 25th one to date. The details for the STC include the installation of the said True Blue Power (TM) Lithium Ion Battery on the aforementioned aircraft. And the new battery now replaces the 24 VDC sealed lead-acid battery on Textron Aviation model 400A and 400T, more commonly known as the Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400XP.
