  1. Cora eVTOL To Resume Flight Testing
Covid-19 has hit the aviation industry hard but not only the common commercial sector but even experimental endeavours. For example, the emerging eVTOL market that was starting to catch momentum with various contenders in the race for the first viable eVTOL in the urban transport sector. Many of these companies had to stop their research, lab-testing and flight testing. The Cora eVTOL by WISK, has been conducting test flights in New Zealand well before the restrictions resulting from Covid-19. Before stoppages they amassed over 1,200 flights using four aircraft.
  2. Since New Zealand was on lock down and engaged stage four of their lockdown process little to no work was able to be done on this eVTOL. However, hopes are that they will be able to resume work once the lockdown reduces to stage 2 which if hopefully by next week. While no practical work was being done on the prototypes during the lock down it gave the company a chance to catch up on its documentation process which is essential for the certification process.
