  1. Global 7500 FTV1 Retired Becomes Company Demonstrator
    As the certification date for the Bombardier Global 7500 draws closer Bombardier has taken the step to retire the first Global 7500 Flight Test Vehicle, FTV1 aka "The Performer". This aircraft has completed all of its testing and will now take on a different role as the Company Demonstrator aircraft. As such it recently came back from being repainted. The Performer or FTV1 entered the flight testing on November 4th, 2016.
  2. They used the opportunity to repaint the aircraft as a form of dress rehearsal for the recently expanded Global Completions Center. For the rest of the test fleet which included five aircraft, FTV2 through FTV5 area close to completing all their assignments and have been engaged in more than 2700 flight test hours. As for the first aircraft, that will be used as a company demonstrator as said before and appear at local and company events prior to the first customer bound deliveries towards the end of the year. "On November 4, 2016, the inaugural flight test vehicle…took to the skies for the first time," Bombardier said. "Today, [it] has officially completed all of its flight testing and is going into retirement. Mission accomplished."
