  1. Go Signal Given To Piaggio To Find New Owner
The Italian government has given the go-ahead to Piaggio Aerospace to look for a new owner. The long complicated process follows the folding of the airframer that makes the Avanti EVO twin pusher-prop. They have been restructuring since the end of 2018 and since then received orders and commitments for projects, maintenance work and new aircraft.
  2. With just under 1 billion dollars worth of orders and commitments in the bag, the airframer is now free to start looking internationally for prospective buyers who want to take on the company totally. If they are successful, Piaggio wants to complete the process by Autumn 2020. The last public orders for Piaggio Aerospace came during the NBAA-BACE show in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States in which Al Saif Aviation made a commitment for some Avanti EVOs.
