  1. Five King Air Turboprops Ordered For Air Ambulance Role

An Australian operator named Pel-Air has order five Textron Beechcraft King Airs which will serve in Air Ambulance role. The exact models will be King Air 350i's and deliveries are expected to start later this year and run through to 2021. They will have aft cargo doors and bigger performance to match the work they are expected to do. They will also be able to fit multiple stretchers in the cabin.
  2. Owing to where Pel-Air operates from out of the New South Wales region in Australia, some of the areas have un-improved strips. It would not be the first time that Textron has business in Australia as there are more than 200 King Airs that benefit from support of Textron Aviation. "A key to our success has been the timely customer service from Textron Aviation, who has already been supporting Pel-Air’s King Air fleet for the past 10 years in the Ambulance Victoria contract."
