Gulfstream Q3 Deliveries Improve; Look Closer To Pre-Corona Levels
Some good news from Gulfstream Aerospace involving their Third Quarter performance. Yes, the deliveries are still down but we are seeing some evidence of it clawing back towards pre-Corona levels. For the Third Quarter of 2020, Gulfstream shipped 32 jets which is not that far off from the 38 shipped in Q3 19. Of the 32 business jets, 25 of them were large cabin and 7 were super midsize category.

For the first 9 months of 2020 the airframer managed to ship 87 bizjets which is down from the 103 for the same period in 2019. The 87 jets in 2020 so far comprise of 71 large cabin and 16 super midsize. This breakdown compares with 79 large cabin and 24 super midsize in 2019. Gulfstream is projecting that it will round out the year with 130 deliveries overall. This means that they anticipate shipping 43 jets in Q4 to make that total. If they manage this, Q4 2020 will not be far off from Q4 2019 with figures accounting for 44 units in Q4 2019.
