  1. Textron Aviation Moves Denali Model Under Beechcraft Brand
The new single engine turboprop that Textron Aviation is currently developing, called the Denali will no longer be known as the Cessna Denali. Textron Aviation has moved the aircraft to its Beechcraft brand where it will sit alongside the King Air models. From now on the in-development aircraft is known as the Beechcraft Denali.
  2. "The Beechcraft Denali represents our continued strategy to invest in clean-sheet and current products in both our Beechcraft and Cessna iconic brands. Beechcraft turboprops are renowned for their versatility and reliability, and the single-engine Denali is a perfect complement to this legendary family of products," said Textron Aviation president and CEO Ron Draper. While the GE Aviation Catalyst engine that is to power the Beechcraft Denali has gone through more than 2,300 hours of ground testing the first engine was fitted to a Denali prototype earlier this month. The engine will get some real flight time hours when it is used on a King Air test bed very soon. FAA certification for the Beechcraft Denali is expected in 2023.
