Lufthansa Technik Airbus A220 VIP Like Boeing, Airbus also tends to offer a VIP variant of most of their current product offering and this is now including the latest model in the fleet, the A220 (former Bombardier CSeries). This concept with a Lufthansa Technik completed outfit first surfaced at the 2019 European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE). The interior is called the A220 Sky Retreat and it aims to change the conventional thinking about how an interior should look on board a VIP aircraft.
The interior will feature some of the latest -practical- technology available today. 4K roll-up displays, an observation lounge, smart touch surfaces like not seen before. More information on some of these features will emerge soon. Besides the obvious finishing and fitout capabilities of Lufthansa Technik, the regular maintenance capability they already provide to the commercial variant makes the VIP proposal an attractive aircraft to acquire knowing the ground-breaking technologies and service support that will be incorporated and provided.
